PHIL “DA POMPEY”/”FORT NEGRO’S” FIXICO, SEMINOLE MAROON DESCENDANT & ACTIVIST, FEATURED IN THE: SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION’S BOOK AND EXHIBIT, ENTITLED: “indiVisible” AFRICAN-NATIVE AMERICAN LIVES. Presents : “MAMA AMERICA” & “FREEDOM MOUNTAIN”

HOORAY AND HALLELUJAH

MAMA AMERICA”…AFRICA IS GRANDMA NOW…WE NEED YOUR MILK OF UNDERSTANDING…WHILE WE LEARN TO UNDERSTAND OUR FORMER AFRICAN SELVES…WE NEED YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE…AND THE MERCY OF YOUR MATERNAL INSTINCT…LET US SHOUT WITH JOY AS WE PASS THROUGH YOUR GATES…AND KISS THE GROUND, WHERE YOU GAVE US BIRTH AND BREATH.

“MAMA AMERICA”…MAMA AMERICA”…SHOW US YOUR FREEDOM MOUNTAIN…HELP US CLIMB THE STAIRS…GUIDE US ALONG THE LIGHTED PATH…THAT LEADS TO OUR TRANSCENDANCE…MOTHER…WE WILL BE GOOD CHILDREN…PROUD SONS AND DAUGTHERS…THEN LET US REST AND GROW…CLOSE UPON YOUR BREASTS”.

There are 950 million people in the Americas. When the Old Atlantic World discovered the “NEW WORLD” it was already populated. In it’s early stages it would become as Thomas Jefferson described : “Red,White and Black”.Now it is a plethora of beautiful and exciting racial, ethnic and cultural mixitures.

I say again “AFRICA IS GRANDMA NOW”.We must strive to have our “EMOTIONAL COMING TO AMERICA”, and see America as our MOTHERLAND!

“BOOKS, BEATS & BEYOND” HOST TAJ SALAAM WITH “BLACK INDIANS” AUTHOR PROFESSOR WILLIAM L. KATZ AND “FORT NEGRO’S POMPEY FIXICO

HOORAY AND HALLELUJAH

Today is January 15th, 2019 here on the West Coast somewhere between the Santa Monica Bay and Los Angeles there is a pause in the rains that have generously  been replenishing God’s green earth. Let us pray for those who are less fortunate than ourselves and hope that when the next round of rain comes that they find shelter.

On Sunday January 13th, the Podcast : “BOOKS, BEATS AND BEYOND”, hosted by Mr. Taj Salaam interviewed the “Legendary” HISTORIAN/AUTHOR Professor William L. Katz. He authored the  CLASSIC primer on the subject : “BLACK INDIANS” “A HIDDEN HERITAGE”. It was a great honor to me that after “Bill” became acquainted with my story, he, in the most recent edition (2012) of “BLACK INDIANS”  put ALICE WALKER’S name on the cover and put my name on the dedication page where her’s had previously been. He also had Mr. Taj Salaam to include me in this truly historic PODCAST.

Professor Katz and his lovely wife Professor Laurie Lehman Katz are two of my dearest friends in the “STRUGGLE” to get the story of Black Indians told. Also, they have consulted, advised and mentored me over the years. I’ll let Professor Katz explain why this PODCAST is historically significant :

Mr. Taj Salaam,
Pompey Fixico, President of the Semiroon Historical Society and I believe
your interview on Black Indians was one of the most thorough and penetrating
we experienced in years of media interviews. Your questions showed a deep
interest in understanding of the research in my book Black Indians: A Hidden
Heritage
and this enabled us to explain many significant points to your listeners.
You also allowed almost an hour enabling us to fully cover this neglected part
of American history. Your program will be especially useful to our school system.
Congratulations on a public service and well done!

Below are a few words by the Host Mr. Taj Salaam:

I’m your host, Taj.

“I’m just your average human…sort of.  I’m average in the fact that I’m a father, a husband and have a 9-to-5. I graduated from Howard University and got my MBA from Georgia State University. The “sort of” comes into play when it relates to my hobbies. I have an insatiable appetite for reading and listening to music. Most of my free time is spent reading about history, current events, or something that relates to music. I hardly watch TV because it rarely answers my questions and it barely presents music artists that convey my reality. So, I created Books, Beats, & Beyond, where people like you and me can build and create a like-minded community.

I’m not here to teach you anything. I’m here to help facilitate the conversations. I’m here to learn with you. So together let’s create a tribe that embraces their “uncomfortable” and pursues their curiosity. What up? You down? “Coo”. Let’s do this”.

Mr. Taj Salaam, I concur with Professor Katz 100 percent !

“FREEDOM MOUNTAIN”: “SACRED MAROON RIDGE” ST. CROIX VIRGIN ISLANDS-US, MWCoC ,CARL NELSON SHOW WOLDC, DR. ChenziRA KAHINA AND “FORT NEGRO’S” FIXICO

HOORAY AND HALLELUJAH

Today is January 11th, 2019, The rain that was perdicted has not come…yet. Let us pray for those less fortunate than ourselves.

Today on the Carl Nelson WOLDC NEWS Show, it was Open Phone Friday. I called in and below is a transcript of my call:

“Hotep Brother Carl, on December 14th, 2018 on your show I made an anouncement. In it I explained that I had previously asked for a “CULTURAL ALLIANCE” between Western Hemisphere Maroons.  The Maroon Women Chamber of Cooperation who represents thousands of Caribbean Maroons accepted that offer. (It was communicated to me by Her Excellency Dr. Ambassador Fidelia Graan-Galon who represented Gloria MaMa “G” Simms and Akilah Jaramogi)

In 2012, I was brought to St. Croix VI-US. My purpose for being invited was to give the invocation for the “Sacred Maroon Ridge Inauguration” and to speak at the Symposium. Since that time I have promoted the concept of a: Maroon and Indigenous Mount Rushmore-like monument, using our Ancestors as those who would be featured on a mountain somewhere in the Caribbean.

The first location to be considered will be: “The Sacred Maroon Ridge” located on St. Croix VI-US. . Besides the monument we hope to also have a museum and theater. We are asking for input as to who, where and how this Dream Mountain can be achieved. Some of the Ancestor Heroes and Heroines that come to mind are: Marcus Garvey, MLK.Jr., Malcolm X, Granny Nanny, Harriet Tubman, Elijah Muhammad, Oseola, Toussaint L’overture, Bob Marley and Yanga.

Remember, the site is in the US and hopefully some prominent African Americans will become involved. It could be :a  Wall Mural, Easter Island-type statures or a “Hollywood Sign” presentation.

The Mt. Rushmore Monument was an insult to Native Americans and was not meant to nuture African American Pride, the chief Artist and man in charge was:  a White Supremacist with strong Ku Klux Klan connections.”

Carl Nelson: Responds: Fixico , I can see that !  I think that it’s a marvelous idea, “WE NEED TO TELL OUR OWN STORY”.  Keep me informed”.

Fixico: “Thank you for allowing me to inform your audience. We are Blessed to have Dr. ChenziRA Kahina  in charge of our efforts there on the island. Dr. ChenziRA is a GENIUS and when you had her on your show, you and Dr. ChenziRA got along famously.”

DR. GENEVIEVE SHEPPARD “THE ANGEL”: OF THE TOM BRADLEY GLOBAL AWARENESS MAGNET SCHOOL/LAUSD AND “FORT NEGRO’S FIXICO

Today is January 6th, 2019, last night it rained but this morning the sun is out with some clouds and it’s a bit chilly. Let us pray for those who need help.

Yesterday, I attended the :”GOING HOME CELEBRATION” for Dr. Genevieve Sheppard she was no less than a POSITIVE FORCE OF NATURE with the Los Angeles Unified School District for 57 years. Dr. Sheppard had a “WARRIOR ANGEL APPROACH TO TEACHING”. She was a Fierce Advocate for all the Children, Parents and whoever came within sight or range of her aura, her attachment to people was instantaneous. Strangers coming around Dr. Sheppard could easily be astonished at her ability to reflexively spread the LOVE that she was full of.

In an interview, she said ; “I was taught by a teacher to, “LIFT THE CHILDREN UP” to teach them. In the morning assembly of the students at the “TOM BRADLEY GLOBAL AWARENESS MAGNET SCHOOL” she would end her address by having the student body repeat these words: “LEARNING IS OUR TOP PRIORITY” !!!!!

I first had the honor of becoming acquainted with Dr. Sheppard and her staff including Maude Johnson (her right hand) about 10 years ago. As a member of the Speaker’s Unit for the Los Angeles Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers 9th & 10th Horse Cavalry, I was detailed to give a presentation at Tom Bradley Elementary. I had no idea that meeting Dr. Sheppard  and Maude Johnson would fill my life and the Buffalo Soldiers wth whom I served with countless high class public appearances over these last 10 years. Her and Maude Johnson (wife of Clift Johnson a retired Bank Vice-President) would always make sure that we were treated with all the respect and hospitality that was theirs to share. Knowing these two and the members of “OUR AUTHOR”S STUDY CLUB” has been a beautiful storybook experience.

To countless people Dr. Sheppard was : “AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN…NOW SHE HAS RETURNED”…… I HAD ANOTHER GREAT TEACHER IN MY LIFE; BEAH RICHARDS AND BEAH WOULD SAY…  ” DR. SHEPPARD…YOU ARE PERFECT AS YOU ARE…LACKING NO ESSENTIAL ELEMENT” NOW,TAKE WINGS”!  AND RETURN TO THE HEAVENLY DOMAIN FROM WHENCE THOU CAME !   WELL DONE…WELL DONE…WELL DONE

SYSTEM OF WHITE SUPREMACY, NEELY FULLER, DR. JACQUELINE BATTALORA, CARL NELSON’S WOLDC NEWS AND”FORT NEGRO’S” PHIL FIXICO

HALLELUJAH AND HOORAY

It’s  January the 3rd , 7:24 pm.  PST. It was a gorgeous day full of California sunshine. Let us pause and pray for those who are less fortunate than ourselves, AMEN. Earlier today, I called into Mr. Carl Nelson’s Show. His guest was none other than Professor Neely Fuller the expert on the “SYSTEM OF WHITE SUPREMACY”, below is a transcript of my call :

Hotep Brother Carl and Professor Fuller. Dr.Jacqueline Battalora in her work “Birth of a White Nation” says that”White People” did not exist in Law until the late 1600’s. She further states that: “White Supremacy has been inbedded in the United States of America from it’s Foundation as a matter of Law”.

She also says that indentured British and Enslaved African laborers; worked, slept and ate together. They also married, however in 1664 an Anti-Miscegenation law against these marriages was the first to use the term “White Person” (The punishment for a White woman marrying an African man was that she would become,”One with her husband”, therefore, becoming enslaved to his owner. Miscegenation Laws like this lasted for 300 year until the Loving vs. Virginia verdict made them unconstitutional).

In the same geographical area of  Colonial America in 1676, Bacon’s Rebellion was fought by  Whites and Blacks for 1 year.  It was that rebellion  that convinced the Plantation Owners Power Struture  that  they must use a Policy of Divide and Conquer by granting the title of “WHITE” to poor disgruntled workers… and it worked.

My question to you Professor Fuller is, now that we know the truth will we ever stop using Race and start celebrating our Diversity”?

Professor Fuller gave an extended answer and the gist of it was that we need an “Anti-Race” solution.

“MR. MARK FROM ANAHEIM”, WOLDC NEWS CARL NELSON, PRESIDENT TRUMP, MRS. IVANKA TRUMP-KUSHNER AND “FORT NEGRO’S FIXICO”

Today is January 1st, 2019. HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all ! May  Peace on earth and goodwill flourish around the world. Last week on December 28th, 2018, it was Open Phone Friday on Mr. Carl Nelson’s WOLDC NEWS Talk Show. Below is a Transcript of my call:

“HAPPY KWANZAA” Brother Carl and audience, I agree with “Mr. Mark from Anaheim’s” statement that President Trump could win re-election because right now there isn’t even a strong contender for the presidency.

In a FACEBOOK Blog from August 2018, I said: “We can’t trust the polls for the next presidential election because of “Trump’s Anonymous Voter’s” who say they won’t vote for him but once inside the voting booth… they surely will vote for him. Remember, America is still a “White Majority Dominant Culture Country”. It dosen’t matter that the president is right or wrong. The Majority Culture at this time wants a :STRONG WHITE MAN” in charge. The Identity Politics of: “Them vs. Us” works and sustains the status quo. Why wouldn’t it ?

I have stated that when needed, President Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump-Kushner will be brought forward as a : “Sarah Palin” type candidate and could in a beauty contest …win it all. The Brown vs. The Board of Education Trial Demontration proved that Blacks will choose, the “PRETTY WHITE DOLL”. Which after “PaPa Trump’s” two terms give us a 16 Year Trump Dynasty”.

The solution is that we must find a NEW CHARISMATIC NON-POLITICIAN CANDIDATE with a plateform that is all-inclusive and fair to all”

Carl Nelson: “Is that All”?

Phil Fixico: “I have a Connect the Dots,  for those amatuer researchers like myself who are listening:  Here it is,  “Bacon’s Rebellion”, “Cecil Rhodes plan to bring the U.S. back into the British Empire, Machine Guns in Africa, the Berlin Conference,  the 3 treaties of World War One  and “A New World Order”.
